Greetings Cards - A Print Run Of Drafts

Today I felt like crap. Utter utter crap. Probably something to do with the mould spore cloud I inhaled upon emptying the bin but with the help of my lovely housemates Dan & Matt my work still went into AIB for small group table crit.

The design were all done the night before because as always I research and fart about with sections until pressure forces me to binge on a making spree. I made just four cards (although the final will have six with possibly two copies of each design) but put a paper band around the set and put them in a plastic cover. This helped a lot to make it look more like a final product.

From Matt's notes I got the following feedback:

- Nostalgia is liked
- ASBO 'cheapens' design.
- "The rabbit looks mental! What were you thinking :) Milla."

I'm glad there was a comment made about the car design with text on the front as I was trying the idea of a contrasting message with an image and I personally didn't think it worked but still threw it in to give it a chance. I will take the text off and make a few more fronts for tomorrow. I won't have time to do hand-rendered text for the inside but will make a message slip for each inside, using one of the fonts on the back so that it's not too dissimilar.

Here's the full [Set] of shots on Flickr. When I've made final designs I will upload flat images or pngs of each front as well as print run shots.
