After searching up on the company 'Letterhead Fonts' I have realised there to be quite story behind the piracy of some of the fonts available and the business plan the company header, chuck davis employed to cope with this.

Overall I've learnt that as a designer I do need to realise that I am in a business world. The difference between art and design I guess on level, is that design is a product intended to be a product. If you have art, you intend for it's expression and message to be the main part. If you make a design, you intend for it's role to be to primarily make you money, whether it be selling, promoting your name etc.

It's a shame that Chuck Davis has had a bad business sense about something he deems very important to him (his typefaces and those of the designers under his company).

Only thing to learn from the whole mess ensued is to understand business if I want to compete and sell design as a product.
