Bit of a random post to just clear up some reminants of what's been floating on my desktop jpeg-wise.



Not quite sure where I came across this ad but I love it's pinup painted feel. The strong colours and typogaphics definately lend itself to the golden age of hollywood era. I didn't really know Gwen Stefani was into this image of herself so it's definately worth a look into.



I went onto ebay & amazon in an attempt to buy back issues of lula magazine but they're as sparse as fairies [in a non homosexual meaning]. Google's ever so predictive 'you might like' section actually churned up something decent in reminding me of my love for Ashley Wood's work. I need to get out the books of his I've got and dust them off. Get messy again with ink and line I think. Be a nice break from this screen based project. But yeah, he's now got vinyl figure of his pipebot coming out in April. Maaan I wish I had some undrainable bank account but don't we all eh?! Added a load more of his books to my amazon-wishlist so I've got to keep on top of that purchase wise. Less magazines that I never do anything with, and more artist specific referencing books.
