Ey-up m'ducky.
Went London yesterday for just a random day out. Even though it was planned, what we did there was not. Was supposed to meet up with Anita but she bailed and ended up being a pure exploration day. Was good to walk around London with Scarlett's friend Hayley guiding the way because it meant i could totally consume everything around instead of worrying about direction or navigation. I do like London rather a lot. I'm not sure what it is about it. Maybe it's the size of the place or the subconcious fact that it is the capital and if there's going to be anything you want, if it's not there then it probably won't be anywhere else. I guess it has a certain energy to it's hustle and bustle that I admire.
We went for some meaty burgers, got loaded up with makeup and told not to wipe off (thanks Emma) and fell and lingered in covent garden for the majority. I never really delved much into the little nooks and crannies of that place but i really really like it. The cobbled streets and silly street performers collected masses of people all flocking to the sqaure like moths to a lightbulb. I definately want to go back to rape the vintage shops of half their goods because my conscious sat heavily on my shoulder yesterday and kept making me debate about it longer, by which time the others would have walked off, so I'd deny and catch up.
The main reason i'm coming to you, Derrick, even though it's not particularly academic is because of the graphics shop that was there, the tiny magazine shop with millions of beautiful glossy books and the Muji shop that's like a cheaper paperchase. Moleskins, pencil packs, pads and jotters galore. I was in heaven. Again my conscious left my empty handed apart from a magazine full of gingers and a pretty fairy-esque font. Happy days.

That there is just a mindspew whilst waiting outside urban outfitters. I've noticed more and more i can glaze my eyes over whilst writing to pull and pick words from my head better. I like the style too of how i wrote without spaces or consideration for practical line spacing. It gives the pages more tone, and moleskins always look good when filled out. Hehe.
Nice one Derrick. Love to take you there one day mate, but yeah.
You're not real.
